When I ride in the car and Bob is driving, I find it hard to sit still with my hands in my lap! So I'm always looking for something to take along. Especially since we live 30 minutes from most major shopping and church. I have started stamping images on material and hand-stitching them out, then using the figures on a card. Here is the first one.
A friend taught me how to make paper. With the paper I joined a group to learn to produce cards. I will share cards I make and if I become really good :) I will share techniques and tips.
Numbers 6:24-26
The Lord bless you, and keep you; The Lord make His face shine on you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance on you, And give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26

Friend to Friend
This wolf seems to be wanting to visit with the grizzly and cub. While they are enemies, they went together well on this card. I used mica chips from Montana to add some natural sparkle.

Moose Crossing
What could be more Montana than a moose crossing? I had fun with this using an embossing folder of animal prints, a little stitching around the moose and moose footprints in the background.

Bitterroot
Montana's State Flower is Bitterroot. I found this picture on the internet and copied and cut it out. The picture is placed on Magpie feathers from Helena, Montana.

Fabric Stamping
Didn't this wolf turn out beautiful on the fabric? I love the stamped effect and it is sitting on top of a Magpie's feathers. The background is from a wolf paw stamp.
