For Mother's Day I usually get a phone call and/or a text...not the personal touch I was brought up with, but it works with the generation after us. And, I know I'm loved because Mother's Day isn't the only time I hear from our kids, so it's all good.
But, I still have a mother (in-law) and she being from the generation before us, really enjoys cards and letters. As a matter of fact, she totally rejects the digital world! This card will be for her!
In the effort to continue using from my stash, the word Happy and the flower were already to go. The embossing is the Swiss Dot folder by Cuttlebug and I used a Martha Stewart border punch for the scallop edging. The purple card stock is some I made last summer using purple dye. I love the way the paper turned out.
This is for the 9th Challenge at Craft Rocket Challenges and it will run for 2 weeks. Come and join us!
