I grew up in a Kodak home. My dad was an executive with Eastman Kodak for 40 years. Monochrome to me is more black and white but upon investigation, it is the same color used with different shades.
For this card I used a variety of stamps. Creative Impressions Mountain Cabin, Stampin' Up Fern, and PSX Mountain Range. The cabin and some trees are popped up to give a dimensional look. I tried a technique I read about lately in an older VSN (April 2008) magazine. Unfortunately, this magazine is obsolete. I've seen a tutorial about weaving for a background but the pictures on the magazine showed the weaving with stamped image. That's where I derived my idea for this card.
It was so much fun I think I have to try this different ways and see how the technique blossoms :)
