A friend taught me how to make paper. With the paper I joined a group to learn to produce cards. I will share cards I make and if I become really good :) I will share techniques and tips.

Thinking of Others
These cards are for two friends in Georgia that have been on my mind recently. The top card is a get well for Phyllis and the bottom a 'thinking of you' for Jill.
Too many people don't think of sending cards any more, but I get more appreciative feedback from those I send cards to then I can began to mention! It's just an easy way to communicate a feeling, or thought to someone special. :-D

Happy Easter - 2014!
Easter is the most precious holiday of any for the Christian church. Consider this: Easter is a good example of how fast things can change in only three days!
I try to make a special Easter card for family members each year. Here you will see I decided to make it round and used a circle die cut to get the border on the first layer and I used the Cuttlebug "Butterflies" set to bring some relief to the card.
Happy Easter to all! HE IS RISEN!

Play On Words
Here is a card using stamps from a new set called "Fresh Fruit" from Fiskars. I stamped the berries, chose a double sided paper to use for the accent, added sparkle to the colored strawberries and heat embossed the saying. Finished with a ribbon and here you are!
This card was made on my home-made card stock that is pale green so the colors came out quite nice.
