Well we didn't see it coming but had to make an emergency trip to Texas right after I posted last. Then we drove to Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia to check in all parties involved, and straight down to Florida to catch our breath.
Finally, finally, I get to play again :) And it's just in time for Valentine's Day.
This card will be sent to my mother-in-law. She gets such a kick out of each card we send her.
This was done using the Reverse Resist Challenge as demonstrated on Mark's Finest Papers Speedy Fox and Friends Challenge #248 "Follow This Tutorial." The directions are very easy to follow and although my colors aren't showing up as vibrant as real life, still it turned out pretty and wasn't difficult to do. The flowers used for the resist are from the mfp Asian Delights stamp set.
So, I hope to get back into the swing of things with Challenges and such, and regular postings.
I will also share this with Word Art Wednesday's site!
Bring it on Wed if you haven't sent it It looks so pretty I am sure it is gorgeous in person........LisReplyDelete

Barbara, what a pretty card. Your MIL will love it. Thank you for joining us for the Speedy Fox and Friends challenge.ReplyDelete
This is so delicate and pretty! I thought this technique easy to do but actually difficult to find the right stamp, designer paper and ink. I wasted a lot of stuff trying to do it! You made it look so simple!!!!ReplyDelete
